Sexist Ads, I know once again this has nothing to do with ads -well, ok, scratch that. I am sure there are plenty of ads that pertain to this theme. I was just blogging about women and how they are still, even in the amazingly futuristic year of 2012, primarily expected to do nothing greater with their life than produce their own offspring. I do not think this is right. We are no longer in the dark ages -far from it. Women can be anything now. So why is this still the primary view on the matter?

Because people suck.

I really have no idea - maybe some people get too fixated on biology, like this jerk the other night hating on asexuality, homosexuality, and anyone who didn’t want kids as unnatural and dooming the species. (I think. I didn’t read too much.)

There’s this idea that men are full human beings all by themselves, and if they have kids great! Women need kids to be fulfilled.

Of course it’s still the primary view because pleasant men like Rick Santorum have a voice and power. (BC is bad because too many teenagers are having kids.) Why else is there a war on BC?

I don’t have any answers.
