A car as a woman, upset about a man staring at her… portrayed as irrational, after all she is gorgeous and how can you help but stare at her?

Disgusting.

There are many reasons to focus on the brewer’s hands…

Because she’s ugly isn’t one of them.

Lovely.

I have nothing against ads that promise a party with their product - but this is just objectification.

"He can’t really tell you all that because he’s just a bloke, really."

This is not an ad that paints a man as a buffoon, he is not insulted for a second, it is an ad saying that a man can’t say, “Thanks hun, I love you, this sausage is great.”

I mean don’t get me wrong - I’d love a small talking dog, but no.

It’s saying to women, don’t expect affection from your husbands - no, not because your individual husband is shy, but because he’s a bloke and blokes can’t say “I love you”.

Her face is what makes this ad so… sigh.

adireadire:

Let’s re-enforce gender stereotypes and alienate audience members - I wasn’t aware that not identifying as a man* made you incapable of drinking tequila.

I hate all these ads, but this is the worst.

It’s the sneering. Girly stuff isn’t just unmanly, you need to sneer at it.

*These writers clearly are most likely cissexist as well, let’s be honest here - they don’t mean people who identify as men, they mean cis men and only cis men.

I saw this ad on TV the other day, and just found it on YouTube.

It’s essentially the ‘Male Version’ of the Mother’s Day ad.

Yeah…

…It speaks for itself.

New Dr Pepper 10 commercial.

There’s a swiffer ad with a mom who, thanks to swiffer’s new awesomeness, is done cleaning the kitchen floor sooner than she expected. So does she get privacy? Does she get to lock herself away from men and children? haha no. women don’t need that kind of thing!

Cars are only for men, and you’ll have a horde of bikini-clad women cheering you if you buy one

To my knowledge, this is the only time I’ve ever seen a woman in a Carl’s Jr. ad. Ridiculous amounts of objectification at the link.

Carl’s Jr. is a tag we’ve already used. They are a repeat offender. It really bothered me that people were mad about the sexual nature of Paris Hilton’s ad a few years back, not the blatant objectification. That’s worse for children, in my opinion.

Where to start… Car as woman and woman as car… She is a bitch/crazy for getting mad at him for leering at her.

But the leering is okay cuz she is so hot. Oh wait, she’s not. It is.
